Quilt Made of Vintage Kimono Silk

Catalina of Kasurihome.com collects vintage Kimono fabrics, both silks and cottons, and creates beautiful bed coverings and home accessories for her clients.

I help her with stabilizing the larger pieces by stitching in the ditch using "Kimono Silk" thread from Superior Threads.

The quilt shown is made from an incredible golden silk and is bordered by indigo colored kasuri cotton fabric.
